Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel provided us with two spacious rooms, each with a separate bath, connected by a door, which was convenient for our stay in February 2020. While the accommodation was a bit loud at times, it offered a cozy and inconsistent experience overall.
I was lucky to stay here after the place went through some major storms and flooding, including water almost up to the porch level of the apartments but fortunately not inside. The rooms are spacious enough with two beds and even had a small fridge and sink in the kitchenette. The service was a bit of a mix; while someone came to replace things immediately, there was an incident where a staff member yelled at us for a mistake. The location is a nice escape despite still suffering from the effects of Hurricane 'Irma' - clean, with a great view of pelicans, and conveniently near the boat tours. Dining is a bit limited due to licensing issues, so they are still recovering. Overall, the facilities offered here are decent.
I was pleasantly surprised by the old Florida fish camp charm of the hotel. The rooms were clean and had a bright, cheerful feel, but unfortunately lacked a microwave. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay enjoyable. The location was convenient for my travel plans and had a great view of pelicans, although it could improve its hospitality. The dining options were limited, but I enjoyed the fish and chips. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few minor drawbacks.
